The four-day United States Conference of Mayors' 91st Meeting begins Friday in Columbus, Ohio with Mayor Karen Bass among the 10 mayors from Los Angeles and Orange counties set to attend. Bass, Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson and Irvine Mayor Farrah Kahn are among the scheduled speakers Sunday at a 'Best Practices Forum' on 'Local Strategies to Reduce Homelessness.' Bass is also set to speak Sunday about her efforts confronting homelessness and working with mayors across the nation to end homelessness.
